Jim Judges
Jim Judges is a Midlands-based comedian, writer and researcher whose live work explores the craft of character comedy with a gently absurd eye for detail. He is best known for Ian Crawford, Cutlery Safety Expert, a dead-serious health and safety obsessive whose unlikely advice has become a favourite at comedy clubs and festivals. Judges has taken Ian Crawford to the Edinburgh Fringe and comedy events around the UK. Alongside performing, he researches stand-up character comedy as a part-time PhD student, produces The Character of Comedy podcast and has created shows including Absolute Bus Stops of Northern Europe and Beyond.
