Jules O'Brian swapped a sixteen-year career as a secondary school English teacher for the comedy stage in 2017, and that background gives her material on midlife, dating and adult kids moving back home an easy confidence rare in newer acts. She's a finalist for the Birmingham Comedy Festival's Breaking Talent award and has been repeatedly shortlisted for the Funny Women Awards, tours her one-woman show Avoid Excessive Cleavage (and Other Advice to Ignore), and is the official voice of TalkTalk.
