Paul Pirie

Paul Pirie gave up a career in acting to start stand-up in April 2004, quickly building a name on the Scottish circuit for a physical, theatrical stage presence and rapid-fire delivery that blurs the line between anecdote and flight of fancy. He was runner-up in the Scottish Comedian of the Year competition in 2006, and has since become one of the biggest Scottish names on the UK circuit, touring Australia and performing for the Armed Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also cut his teeth in the Glasgow-based improv troupe Dance Monkey Boy. Confident, high-energy stagecraft with total command of the room.
