Pauline Daniels
Pauline Daniels grew up in Birkenhead, started out singing in Wallasey working men's clubs, and moved into stand-up when a sore throat put a stop to the singing. She went on to become the only woman ever to appear on Granada's The Comedians, and has spent more than forty years since as one of Merseyside's best-known entertainers, including a year-long run in Brookside and West End work in A Saint She Ain't. She has owned and run The Actor's Studio on Seel Street since 2007. A stand-up's timing and a trained actor's stage presence, wherever she's booked.
