The President’s solo shows have toured the UK and played at Bath Comedy, Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals to packed crowds and critical acclaim. President Obonjo has attracted legions of fans thanks to his party political broadcasts on social media, NextUp Comedy specials and declaration of war on Wakanda. A beloved character on the comedy circuit, he is in demand as an MC and headliner. When the BBC and E4 conspired to dethrone the President by installing a pretender in his position of Comedy Dictator, the entire comedy community rose as one to demand that His Serene Excellency be recognised as the TRUE Supreme Leader of the Lafta Republic. The guilty parties have never been seen again.
