Sam Avery
Sam Avery has been working the UK circuit since his first gig in 2003, but before comedy he chased a career in music, signed to BMG Records at seventeen and touring in support of Motorhead and Ice-T. That winding path gives his material on family life and modern parenthood an easy, self-aware honesty, delivered with dry Liverpudlian wit. Since 2018 he's sold out venues nationwide with tours including Toddlergeddon and How Not To Be a Terrible Parent, and is a regular guest on TalkSport and BBC 6 Music. He's also a bestselling author and two-decade Artistic Director of The Comedy Trust, a Liverpool charity using comedy to support wellbeing.
