Steve Day lost his hearing at eighteen and, after years of putting off the stage career he'd always wanted, became one of the UK circuit's most distinctive voices — quite literally the country's most talked-about deaf comedian. The Guardian has called him "revelatory and very funny," and his acclaimed Fringe show Deafy's Island Discs earned five stars from Chortle before touring the UK and Europe with an Italian translation. He's a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's You and Yours and Woman's Hour, and has appeared in radio dramas alongside Bill Nighy and Patricia Routledge. Warm, sharply funny, and genuinely his own.
