Tudur Owen
Tudur Owen worked as a car mechanic, fencing contractor and lorry driver before a chance job as a studio runner opened the door to entertainment, and he first performed five minutes of stand-up at the National Eisteddfod in 1999. A BAFTA Cymru winner for his S4C series The PC Leslie Wynne Show, he now hosts his own twice-weekly show on BBC Radio Cymru and co-wrote the acclaimed BBC Wales comedy Tourist Trap. He's an Edinburgh Fringe regular of around fifteen years, performing bilingually in Welsh and English, and in 2022 Bangor University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Literature. Sharp writing with an unmistakably Welsh perspective.
